Ingredients
For the salad:
- 1/2 watermelon, diced
- 1/2 cucumber, diced
- 200g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 red onion, sliced into thin rings
- 100g feta cheese, crumbled
- 100g black olives, pitted
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- Salt ‘n’ Pepper Rub from helvetic-barbeque.ch
For the pasta:
- 300g wholemeal fusilli
- Salt for the cooking water
For the bratwurst:
- 4 sausages, preferably from your trusted butcher
- Original BBQ sauce from helvetic-barbeque.ch
Preparation
- Cook pasta:
- Cook the fusilli in a large pan of salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Greek salad:
- In a large bowl, mix together the diced watermelon, diced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion rings, feta cheese and olives.
- Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar. Season with the Salt ‘n’ Pepper Rub from helvetic-barbeque.ch and mix well.
- Grilling sausages:
- Preheat the grill to medium heat. Place the sausages on the grill and grill for approx. 10-15 minutes, turning regularly, until they are nicely browned all over and cooked through.
- Serve:
- Divide the fusilli between plates and arrange the Greek salad next to it.
- Add the grilled sausages and brush generously with the Original BBQ Sauce from helvetic-barbeque.ch.
