Grilled salmon with salt-n-pepper rub and Mediterranean vegetable salad

Today I have a fantastic recipe for you that is perfect for the warm summer days: grilled salmon with salt-n-pepper rub and a fresh Mediterranean vegetable salad. This dish is not only healthy, but also incredibly tasty and easy to prepare.


For the salmon:

For the salad:

  • 200 g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 100 g feta cheese, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Helvetic Barbeque Salt-n-Pepper Rub to taste


  1. Prepare the salmon:
  • Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil and sprinkle generously with the Helvetic Barbeque Salt-n-Pepper Rub.
  • Preheat the smoker to 110°C.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the smoker and smoke for around 45-60 minutes until they reach a core temperature of 60°C.
  1. Prepare the salad:
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper and feta cheese.
  • Add the olive oil and balsamic vinegar, mix well and season with Helvetic Barbeque Salt-n-Pepper Rub.
  1. Serve:
  • Remove the salmon from the smoker and garnish with lemon slices.
  • Serve with the fresh vegetable salad.
