Grilled salmon and vegetables

Summer is calling and it’s time to fire up the barbecue! Today I’m showing you a simple but incredibly tasty recipe for perfectly grilled salmon and vegetables seasoned with the Helvetic Barbeque Salt n’ Pepper Rub. This recipe is not only quick to prepare, but also ideal for a cozy barbecue with friends and family. Let’s go!


  • 2 salmon fillets (approx. 500g each)
  • 4 corn cobs, halved
  • 2 zucchinis, cut into strips
  • 2 red peppers, cut into strips
  • Helvetic Barbeque Salt n’ Pepper Rub
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh herbs for garnishing (e.g. dill or parsley)


1. preparation of the salmon:

  1. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat dry with kitchen paper.
  2. Season both sides of the fillets generously with Helvetic Barbeque Salt n’ Pepper Rub. For a more intense flavor, massage the rub lightly into the fish.
  3. Optional: Drizzle a little lemon juice and oil over the fillets.

2. preparation of the vegetables:

  1. Rub the corn on the cob, zucchinis and peppers with olive oil.
  2. Sprinkle the vegetables with Helvetic Barbeque Salt n’ Pepper Rub.

3. prepare the grill:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare a grill pan or aluminum foil for the vegetables to prevent them from sticking. Or cut large enough pieces and place directly on the grill rack

4. barbecue:

  1. Place the salmon fillets on the preheated grill. For a perfect grill mark and even cooking, grill the fillets for approx. 4-5 minutes per side until they have a nice golden crust and can be easily separated with a fork.
  2. Place the vegetables on the grill at the same time. Turn the corn frequently so that it grills evenly on all sides. Zucchinis and peppers need about 8-10 minutes until they are tender and lightly browned.

5 Serve:

  1. Arrange the grilled salmon and vegetables on a large serving platter.
  2. Garnish with fresh herbs and drizzle with additional lemon juice if desired.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!
