When the sun is shining over TCS Camping Sion and the barbecue is heating up, there’s nothing better than a delicious, relaxed BBQ. Today we present a simple but irresistible recipe that is perfect for your next camping adventure: Greek salad with grilled corn and sausage, topped off with Helvetic Barbeque Original Sauce. Let’s get started!
Ingredients
For the Greek salad:
- 3 large tomatoes, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 150g feta cheese, diced
- 50g olives, pitted and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the grilled corn and the bratwurst:
- 4 fresh sausages
- 4 corn on the cob
- Helvetic Barbeque Original Sauce (available here)
Preparation
1st Greek salad:
- Place the tomatoes, cucumber, onions, feta and olives in a large bowl.
- Add the olive oil and red wine vinegar. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Mix everything well and set aside to allow the flavors to develop.
2. grilled corn and bratwurst:
- Pre-cook the corn cobs in hot water for about 10 minutes.
- Place the sausages and corn on the cob on the preheated grill.
- Turn the corn cobs regularly until they are evenly browned.
- Grill the sausages until they are cooked through and crispy on the outside.
Serve the Greek salad on a plate. Place a grilled corn on the cob and a sausage next to it. Serve with a cold beer and Helvetic Barbeque Original Sauce, then enjoy the relaxed camping atmosphere in Sion.
