Yak Straccetti with carrots and salad

Something light to enjoy quickly….


  • Yak fillet (approx. 150g / pers.)
  • Rüäbli (carrots)
  • Salad
  • Onions
  • Bouillon
  • Oil
  • Aceto Balsamic
  • Helvetic Barbeque Salt n Pepper Rub

First, prepare the carrots. To do this, quarter the carrots lengthwise into four equally sized pieces. You can still cut the pieces in half if you like. Now peel the onion and cut it in half. After that you can cut the halves into wide strips.

Sauté the carrots and onions in a little oil with a tablespoon of stock, add a little water and cook until the carrots are firm to the bite.

Now cut the yak fillet into strips about a centimeter wide. Sear the strips on all sides in a pan or on the grill and season them with our Helvetic Barbeque Salt n Pepper Rub.

Now just dress the salad, put the straccetti with the vegetables on the salad and drizzle with oil and aceto. Optionally still sprinkle salad seasoning…
